Deborah A. Baker, DDS
Born and raised in Southern California, she graduated from University of Southern California, better known as USC (Fight On!) in 1999 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery. After having a small private practice for 16 years in SoCal, she and her Husband decided to relocate to Winchester, VA.
Construction on Rutherford Family Dental began in 2019 with the grand opening being delayed due to COVID. Now, Rutherford Family Dental is a thriving single doctor practice with a strong belief in preventative care. Dr. Baker strives to educate her patients during each visit. She never stops expanding her own knowledge by attending multiple continued education courses yearly and investing in the latest products, dental equipment and supplies.
It was during COVID that Dr. Baker began her journey with Invisalign. Since joining MOLIS Coaching, led by Dr. Ryan Molis, a top GP Invisalign provider in the nation. She has attended advanced training with MOLIS, which included both Capstone and Mastermind. It was through this group that she began her journey with Bioclear, founded by Dr. David Clark. She has since attended The Core Anterior and Posterior 4-Day Certification course in Spring of 2025. Dr. Baker plans to attend The Complex Case Management and Problem Solving with Bioclear in the Fall of 2025.
Dr. Baker is a major dog lover! She has 4 Beaucerons, Ricka, Momix, Ted-e, and Lena. She has successfully competed in numerous dog shows, FastCat, herding, obedience, rally and agility training. Dr. Baker has traveled for dog shows and conventions and has traveled as far as France. With her current 15yr old pup, Ricka, she has raised 2 healthy litters. Dr. Baker and Momis traveled France to compete in the National d’Elevage Dog Show, placing Excellent in Morphology. More recently the Mother and Daughter pups were shown in the AKC National in 2024. Mother took best overall Veteran and Daughter took home best of Veterans.
